Five Ways To Make Your Bathroom a Palace

On December 19, 2016 by dixiesomers

When it comes to home remodeling, there are far too many people out there who simply dismiss their bathroom. Because their bathroom is small or because it is old fashioned, the think that they simply cannot do anything with it. The truth of the matter is that whether you are working with dorm bath supplies or you have thousands of dollars at your disposal, you’ll find that there are a number of fantastic things that you can do to make your bathroom really shine.

Mirror Border

For the most part, it is too irritating to do anything about your mirror. Your mirror is glued to the wall and tearing it out could be a very irritating process. If your mirror is on the plain side, take a moment and think about how you can give it a border. Most mirrors are sturdy enough to have a mosaic border or a tile border glued around the edge, and for many people, it results in a DIY piece of art that adds a lot of appeal to the room.

Shower Curtain Fun

If you are using a shower curtain, you will discover that it is important for you to think about how it affects the room. To get a lot more visual space, consider a clear shower curtain. If you are looking for something artistic, consider an outer layer made of fabric that is patterned in a way that you like. If you want a personal touch, consider a shower curtain that has slots for your favorite post cards!

Bath Rug

Choose a bath rug in a color you like, and make sure that it is coordinated to the rest of your bathroom for the best effect.

Racks

When you want to maximize the amount of space you have in your bathroom, consider an over-the-toilet rack. A rack like this gives you a place to hold your bath supplies, a great place to throw towels and it gives your bathroom more visual height. Choose a rack that matches your visual aesthetic. For example, if you love a rather antique look, consider a rack that is made out of black wrought iron. RHL storage supplies can help you out.

Baskets

If you have space on your counter, think about throwing a few baskets around. Baskets are great for holding small hand towels, wrapped soaps or even jewelry and bobby pins. Baskets can hold your things while helping them look amazingly classy at the same time.
